I still have the original file for PrimoPDF that will run in Windows 98. If
anyone needs it, I can send it thru YouSendIt.com. It's a 10MB file so your
email program may not be happy if I send it the usual way.

Thanks JoAnn

I've been looking for this, or something I now DARE try putting on with my
printer (LOL) I really liked having a way to save as pdf for the short time
I had it. I have SerifPagePlus8 pdf but tried it last night and it doesn't
open Publisher files, only saves it's OWN files. And it doesn't do (all)
what Publisher does, so isn't as usefull.

I don't know what YouSendIt is? Is that where you upload it to a link and
the person downloads it?

That would be great. I have yahoo mail, and large size files come in
(couldn't it be zipped?) but if there's an easier way, that would work, too.

I think the Primo site should have something on it about this, and
offer the older version for Win 98. Maybe there's a way of letting them
know, but the info I got about it came from a discussion board ON their
site.

Thanks,
Carrie

Carrie,

Have you looked at the latest version of PP, PP11? It is light years
ahead of PP8 PDF.

No, I didn't even know what Page Plus was. Someone gave it to me on a cd
one time.

Right now I have an older computer (going on 6 years) with Win 98SE, and
in the process of getting a loan (from a family member) to get a new one,
and new camera, printer, not sure what else. But, the computer will be
bigger and probably have XP on it, and I'll be more able to use newer and
bigger programs with it.

I don't use pdf a lot, only would to show people something I'd made in
Publisher, when they don't have the program to open it. Right now I'm doing
screen capture with Paint Shop Pro and sending it as a jpg (which works)

Thanks,
Carrie
